your Derauiller needs adjustment in which it needs to be synchronized with the shifter. The main barrel adjuster  needs to be rotated clockwise or anti clockwise for the gear cable to be adjusted.   This is a simple no rags procedure that can be done yourself or take the help of a number of videos on You tube on rear derauiller adjustment.

Hi Jack,

If your bike is only 3 months old, then what Vinni suggested is quite right. Only a little adjustment should solve the problem. When the rear wheel was removed for tube change, something may have disturbed the cable setting. Call me on 9731526622 if you need any further help.

If your gear shifts up then that means your gear cable is bit tight, Just take it to shop from where you got it from they will do the adjustment. All thats needed is a little bit of loosening of he rear gear cable. I wont advice you to do it urself as u could end up altering it completely. Just visit the bike shop from where you bought it from, they may not even charge you for this as its a very minor adjustment.
