Finally took the plunge and decided to do a really long ride (anything more than 40 K in my case)...left Dahisar at 0630 hrs on 31st and reached Jamrug (near Karjat - just below Bhimashankar & Peth) at 1500 hrs.

Route - Dahisar - Ghodbunder - Thane Bhiwandi BP - Kalyan - Murbad - Kashele - Jamrug
Total Distance - 126.43 KM
Riding Time - 6 hrs 30 mins

Good roads, very little traffic after Murbad.

Rear tire got punctured and had to leave my bike out there....reached home on 1st Jan with just the rear wheel in hand (had a lot of explaining to do at home :-) ). Will be going back friday, 9th Jan (late night) and ride back on 10th morning....looking forward to it....if any one game to join, let me know

You can say that a Cycle ride is the opposite of Life....the downs are way better than the ups :-)

Beautiful pics. But I have to admit I almost have a stiff neck. BTW, where did you leave your bike? I keep a spare tube in my bag when I ride along with some basic tools.
