BSA India cyclothon Mumbai April 24, 2011

Bring out your bikes, the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon is back in Mumbai! The new, improved edition of India’s largest celebration of cycling is set to leave another memorable mark on India’s commercial capital.

On this occasion – April 24, 2011 – the Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) will launch the city’s first-ever cycling track at Bandra Kurla Complex. The city’s swankiest commercial district is all set to include cycling as part of its integrated transportation plan.

As you get set to saddle up and ride away, also note that you have the option of raising money for charity. Animal welfare and a healthy heart are the twin causes that the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon will support.

The city is all set to ride. Gear up now!

is this a fashion show where you come to strut your stuff or for serious cyclists.

My son  mentioned that we would have to cycle 30 km forth to reach BKC , then strut for 20km and then ride back 20km . Th2 60 km  too and  fro is on seriously bad roads. Our trip to Balard estate has been pending for quite some time . Any guys  would like to joins us  through the scenic mudflats , flamingos , eastern water front and some quite private roads into South Mumbai .  No strings and no charges attached.Just a good time  and some great cycling.
