Indian Cyclists Network

A must read for anyone who is enthusiastic enough to buy a bike but is too lazy to even do some basic online research

A mandatory read for anyone who is about to post one of those ' i am new...blah...blah...blah...please tell me what to buy in 8K...blah...blah...blah'.

Hopefully after reading this the question about bikes will be a bit more sensible.

And the short answer is that for most people starting out in cycling and looking for a bike for general riding, a hybrid is the best choice.

Agree with Deepak Kini. Otherwise this site is becoming repetitive with same comments and same answers : "which bike to buy?"

It must be made compulsory for newbies to read it first after joining.

It is also great site to add up to your knowledge of bikes to seasoned pros also.

Hey mods, this link needs to be on the homepage of anyone who joins, or better still, make a copy and paste it on this forum :)
