Viraj for Beach Games, dreams of ironman record

 The 19-year ofld lad want’s to become the youngest and fastest Ironman of India.

The Ironman event consists of swimming in open water ( 3.86 kms), cycling ( 180.25 kms) and running ( 42.2 kms).

Fitness is in Viraj’s genes.  His father Milan is a former National Wrestler.

‘Narmada Parikrama’ on cycle

A group of five people recently completed ‘Narmada Parikrama’ on cycle.

The group members included Aniket Sutar, Anand Ghatpande, Chandrashekhar Iti, Upendra and Vedang Shevde who peddled their bicycle over a distance of 2,850 kms along the Narmada riverbank.

Of these, while the others are from Pune, Iti is a 61 year old hailing from Belgaum, Ghatpande and Upendra Shevde are college friends while Sutar is from their cycling group.
