Wanted: A Good Road/Racer Cycle

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a good medium range used road bike, like Merida, Trek, Firefox or Raleigh. My budget really depends on the bike, its condition and its cost.

Please let me know if anyone wants to sell one. Only a road bike please; no ATB/MTBs!

Folding bike in Mumbai

Does anybody use a folding bike that can be taken in a Mumbai local ( in the luggage compartment) so that you can use that on the proverbial last mile commute? Is there one available in Mumbai (in the < 10k range?)

New cycle route for CWG 2010

It cuts through Connaught Place. The mass cycle road race at the Commonwealth Games 2010 has finally been approved! It will now start from in front of the Free Church on Sansad Marg and will no longer encircle the swimming complex in Talkatora stadium, as planned earlier.

The new route will now go through Connaught Place, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, Central Vista, and back to Sansad Marg. It will basically turn the public roads into a race track for the Delhi Games…

Help in selecting a cycle

I am from Pune & I'm looking for a geared bike for general cycling in the city as well as going for long rides outside the city. My budget is 5k to 8k. I have seen Octane, Ryders, Hercules Fusion & Peerless cycles. There are many varieties in Octane, Ryders & Peerless. Any idea which is the best? Please give suggestions for a good buy. Thanks.

Suggestions for purchase of a "Commuter Bike" within a budget of Rs 5000.

Hi folks,

After approx 14 years of service i have realised that my "Hero Hawk" racer bike has outlived its utility, as its tyres tend to rupture frequently, having kept it for sentimental value. Toured entire of Bangalore and South Mumbai with this tough cycle. I now normally cycle short distances and use the cycle as a form of aerobic exercise as well as purchase of local groceries and commuting within my locality. I am thinking of purchasing the latest "Chineese built" bikes in the…

Tour De Hyderabad

Hello Hyderabadis...

The weather is awesome with the air so fresh and clouds trying to compete with our bicycles and best thing is when we sweat we got drizzle to cool us down. If only my bike's got a mouth, i would hear it say, "Boss, take me out for a RIDE." It is a matter of irony cuz my heart says the same. If you feel the same, the time is right for us to host our own TOUR DE HYDERABAD. lets not waste time and jump into action and lets enjoy the monsoon and make most out…
