Hello Everyone.

Which MTB to buy?

I am just starting out on an MTB. I had an BSA Mach 10, 15 years before...again going back to the joy of cycling.

I have shortlisted 2 Hardtail MTBs.

1) Fantom Terrano (3x8) speeds

2) Scholl Galaxy (3x7) speeds

I tried out both, but found the Scholl MTB more comfortable than the Fantom bike.

Now the fix:

1) Does a difference of 3 gear means much?

Cycle buying options now in PCMC - Pune.

The cyclists in Pimpri - Chinchwad (PCMC) areas of Pune have never had it so good.

The infrastructure to ride was always there, there already are a few groups devoted to cycling, what was lacking so far was a few dependable cycle stores. Yes, there were a few for quite long, but they had a typical approach.

The situation is changing now and the competition is getting hotter. One can now visit "Track n Trail" in Chinchwad opp Jayashree talkies on Mumbai - Pune highway.…

Don't let the site down !!!!

I've got a mail from cyclists network that the site will be down from September 30. So we, the members of such a wonderful site should stand together to support the owner. We all should give him monetary support to let him continue the run of this website.

I love this website so much as I could find lots of cyclists here and lots of information exchanges which some Facebook cannot offer.

So please mail the owner of the website that we could support him.

Completed my first long ride (110 Km) succssfully

As I planned, I had completed my 110 Km ride on 11th (Last Sunday) from Cochin to Mangalam Dam. I would like to share my experience here.....

My cousin, Dr Jerry, and myself started at 6:30 AM (Presence of a doctor made me more more confident :). Actually we wanted to start more early, but fear of stray dogs (one of the main threat in all Indian cities) forced us to wait for good day light even we were prepared with pepper spray to protect our-self against street dogs.
