Saturdays of Madh Island trip

I really don't know how many times Amrish and Rishu have gone to Madh Island. But from what I could gather this morning, these guys have been there really many times. On my side, if you count last week's trip in which I did not even take the ferry... I've been there twice.

RIDING GROUP AT NIBM ROAD

Hi all, just want to inform everyone that we have started cycling together on sunday mornings at 6:30. Amarnath Kamath has also made a group on cyclist.in called NIBM RIDERS. The idea was to gather like minded cyclist ( who were scattered and would cycle alone or in a small groups ) in the nibm, salunkhe vihar, wanaorie, fatima nagar areas and cycle together and have fun. the last time we cycled, we were a group of 7. 5 guys and 2 girls. Old Newbie

Hi!

I'm a 35 year young software consultant. Have rediscovered the joys of cycling after 18 long years! I've taken up cycling for weight loss (after years of 'donating' money to various gyms). Wonder why I didn't think of it earlier, but better late than never.

I've started doing 10km daily. Hope to increase it gradually, and also commute to work soon. I currently ride my 3 yr old Hero Street Racer, have got it fitted with Starlit gear

You get more eyeballs than sports cars!.

Seriously! not that i am complaining... if only vehicles stopped taking the decision unilaterally to convert an empty track into an obstacle course by coming right in the way despite seeing me coming, it would have been near perfect!

Partners needed for kaccha limbu triathlon

Notwithstanding the title, this is still an over ambitious target for me.

I am looking to attempt the super sprint triathlon which consists of 400 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run. in the same order.

Tube Quality on the Fomas Road King Deluxe

Is it just me or is the quality of the tube on the fomas road king deluxe not up to the mark?

Are there any alternatives as far as tubes go? I know its got a somewhat different type of valve which makes life more complicated.

Any tips? clues?

One more trip to Kharghar Hills.

Today morning we have joined few friends from Thane on thier way to Panvel. In return we have climbed Khargar Hill once again. But this time the difference is I am on my new Trek 4300. It is a real great experience to ride Trek compared to my earlier bike Fire Fox Tempest. There is no comparision at all. Trek is great, great and great. Continue

Sunday ride: Ride to Pune?- No, Kharghar?..umm no. Ok Panvel then!

Was fun today... what was supposed to be a leisurely ride.. didnt quite turn up that way. but hey.. it was actually fun! Me n Aman started from Airoli..While my legs were still asleep, staying on Amans tail managed to wake them up soon enough.. Beginner Needs Help

Hi All,
