BSA-TFN 2010: Complete 8 days' Ride Report

An Amazing Scenic MTB Ride in California, USA


I recently did a great scenic MTB ride in California, USA.
The ride was through unpaved trails and singetracks and I added a bit of a drama with a nasty fall.

Biking in World's Highest Ultra-Marathon @ 5395 meters


The world's highest ultra-marathon is here.

It is a 222 km foot race at an avg altitude of 13,500 feet crossing through the 2 highest roads in the world at 5395 meters!

I would be biking with the ultra-marathon runners and bring the live blog about this unique high altitude event.

Biking to Lansdowne: Triumph of Will vs Heat, Thirst and Terrain

Hi Folks,

I cycled to Lansdowne in Garhwal Himalayas this weekend. The ride was a

beautiful but was marred by extreme heat (42 degrees Celsius).

The ride had all the drama one can expect, heat-thirst-terrain-blood and sweat!

the trip is good... but I have a Hawk w/o gears..thats not fit fr mountain climbing... is there a facility fr bike Hiring only fr the expedition..or any other arrangement... also carrying any Bike from Kolkata and back will be a xtra work...
