"Gel cushions - bad.  Counter-intuitively, a harder saddle which provides support at the correct places is going to be more comfortable than a gel saddle.    More padding is never the answer."

I was looking into buying a surly LHT. I stay in mumbai. Since you already own the bike i hope you won't mind helping me out with a few queries:

1.Did you get your bike imported/shipped/picked up from singapore/USA or did you route it through a dealer here in India? Also in case of the former did you set it up on your own?

Do you know of any surly Distributors/dealers in India? The site lists none.

Never expected to see anyone from Andaman. Where in Adaman are you located? I grew up in Port Blair. Did my entire schooling there  (83 to 95). Last visit was way back in 2000. Lot of people tell that the place has advanced a lot. I wonder!

yeah i am serving in indian navy, i got some health issues during the course i was kickd out ..... am i can reach kol on 28th afernoon n catch a train for NJP on tht day only so i can reach NJP on 29th. So from NJP on 29th how can i join u guys like how much time its going to take to reach bhutan from there ???? i dont have much idea abt tht. let me knw abt tht. what will be the expense for the tour approx coz am running out of my pocket n the deraileur issue also came so i have to plan accordinly.....let me know more details 29th morning will the time i can reach NJP. So let me knw what i can do after tht.....
