My current bike model / type:
Surly Cross Check
My favourite ride so far:
Manali Leh, my regular commute to office...
A bit about myself:
A bit of a cyclist...

My cycling passion started in the 90s after graduating from college. Bought my first real MTB (a Kona Caldera steel hardtail), then quickly discovered single-track riding. I rode off-road quite a bit for a few years in and around the Bay Area--amazing tracks!

I started to discover that I was enjoying the ride to the trails, as much as the ride on them and traded in my MTB for a cyclo-cross bike.

I try to cycle as a primary form of transportation and exploration and as an expression of a creative life. I did my first cycle-tour when I turned 30, during my first year in India; a ride taking me from Calicut down to Kanyakumari, to Trichy and Chennai. Since then, I try to travel by bicycle every year if possible.
