"Remove both the tyres. Pack them individually in bubblewrap/light cardboard packing. The same for the frame and the rest of the unit. It would help if u can mark them 'fragile handle with care'. Ask at the airport check in to place…"

- I don't prefer to cycle when it is raining. I like cycling very much and a true mumbaikar today should either commute by train or cycle. Should avoid use of other means as long as possible. This will definitely make mumbai clean, green & pollution free. That's what I think.
I am market researcher by profession and used my skills even while buying cycle for me. I did pretty intensive research before buying cycle. Purchased Hybrid bike which is light but sturdy on Potholed roads. It's none other than Schwinn Sporterra Comp.
Though we have seen entry of foreign brands in Indian cycle market, I still feel cycle market to be under-penetrated. I am curious about recumbent cycles and hope to some research on it in future.
On personal front, I am friendly person with helping nature. I also like backpacking. I have done solo travelling within India as well. I like trekking as well. I am very selective when it comes to hobbies. And I do give time for hobbies which are chiefly travelling, trekking & visiting Indian classical music concerts which happen on weekends in Mumbai. I am stingy about spending money so I prefer to go to free concerts..!
I am expecting lot of things to happen in near future in Indian cycle market.

My first Pune Trip from Vile Parle
I started cycling 7 months ago. I invested almost all of my weekends post monsoon in cycling. First I participated in Cyclothon which was held somewhere in April. I had borrowed my friend's cycle - Hercules Sport (18 geared). I was cycling after a gap of around 15 years. I saw many good cycles during the cyclothon event.
