I started my cycling career with an Atlas Rambler which my father gifted me when I was studying in 2nd grade.I used to ride it to the school and joy rides in the leisure time. Then when I went to the 6th grade I graduated to Hercules 9000. I had to buy a Hercules Canon Barrel, when I was in 9th grade because my 9000 was stolen. I upgraded my Canon Barrel with a Starlit 5 speed drive train. By this time apart from riding to school, I started visiting places like Khidkali temple from Dombivili. After moving to Mulund in 2002, ocassionally I rode my Canon Barrel to Thana College.. I donated my bike to a NGO in 2005 and ever since then the only opportunity I had to ride my Grandpa's roadster when I visited my native place. My school pals had sold their bicycles long back and graduated to mobikes. Another opportunity cropped up when I was in Pune, where I rode my friend's Roadster from Dange Chowk to Chinchwad to attend classes. To complete PBP 2011 in 75h and 17m was a dream come true.
two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Wandering one gathers honey.
To live and ride
