Mahakali Cyclists Association is a budding interest group of cycle enthusiasts wanting to spread the message of GREEN EARTH to the citizens of our neighborhood.

This is our maiden effort towards this noble cause. The dual purpose is to spread the message of Green Earth and promote cycling as a healthy habit among the citizens of our neighbourhood. The advantage of cycling is known to everybody and does not need any elaboration. Interestingly, this will be the first ever event of its type in Mumbai suburbs as purely citizens’ initiative.

We have planned a cyclathon or a cycle rally of maximum 25 kms inside the green environs of Aarey Milk Colony on Sunday, 11th April 2010 starting at 6:30 AM.

The event is open to all cycle enthusiasts. The rally will be followed by a welcome address aimed at forming a permanent association to carry on the activities in an organized manner in future. Each participant will be awarded a certificate of participation and a medal. Each participant will also be given a T-shirt to wear before, during and after participation in the event. There will be arrangement for water posts and medical help all along the rally path.
