About the bike you should go in for........
take a look at Firefox and Raleigh ... only Hard tail (no rear suspension) only alloy V Brakes (No Disc Brakes even if you are getting them in that budget) if you can increase your budget a little then try for an Alloy frame with less components .... which can be added latter and of much better quality. check for alloy rims ... and try for street tyres if you ride a lot on the road ...... also Take a few more opinions once you have narrowed down to 2 to 3 bikes. Take care
