Cyclists.in Stickers for the Mumbai Cyclothon

Note to all cyclists.in members attending the Mumbai Cyclothon this Sunday -

Please collect these stickers from me at the start point. Since most of us know each other, it'll be easy to spot the cyclists.in gang! We can make cyclists.in visible by pasting the sticker on our backpacks or t-shirts for the ride. I've purposely chosen bright colours for better visibility.

Sneak preview of the Cyclists.in Magazine cover :)

The cyclists.in magazine is all set to launch this Sunday (21st Feb) at the Mumbai Cyclothon! It's been a labour of love. Managing the design, layout, content editorial along with my regular client work and schedules. Needless to say, the experience has been taxing. But boy, was it bucket loads of fun!

Recent study shows that virtually all helmets offer the same level of protection!

A recent study by the Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute found that virtually all helmets (be it $20 or $150 and above) offer the same level of protection.

Read their report on the findings -

2000 members! Any moment now...

At the time of writing this, just 9 members more to hit the magical 2000 member mark. What a journey it's been so far for cyclists.in !

Hope to see lots of new faces in future rides and hundreds of more blog posts and pics. Again a reminder that February will see the launch of our first cyclists.in magazine issue. We've got some great content (and special offers!) in place.

Cheers Everyone!

Hi, Amit Bhowmik, thanks for the comment, this is Manish Joshi, but let me tell u those photos are not repeated but those photos are the ones taken in the burst mode of the camera. This function is one where one can take many photos at one time by just keeping the shutter button pressed of the camera till the buffer memory gets full and then trasfers the file or photos to the storage medium of the camera i.e. the memory card. When seen in the playback mode or slideshow or even faster by anyone it appears as if the person is walking, in this case cycling forwards or backwards. Unfortunately the system or the operating system of cyclists.in is not showing the photos in the correct order as taken and hence one feels that they are repeated, which they are not. Another example to enlighten you is this, u must have watch many professional photograph's sitting on the boundary line during a cricket match. These photographers also shoot in the burst mode drive, because one cannot predict that on which particular ball a bowler will take a wicket and the batsman will get out. So If lucky when taking photos in the burst mode they end up taking many photos, and the ball which strikes the wicket, that photo is printed in the newspaper or magazine the next day. I hope this will answer your question. Take care and GOD Bless.
