Duty Exemption for Cycles!!

We cyclists are trying to conserve Oil and contributing in bring down Pollution. We are turning big as a group and one Big family with an objective of being Fit and saving energies. We would like to make a request to make Bicyle Imports Duty Free!!!

Adil u can make this happen!! with the kind of contacts that you have in the ministy & ur family legacy in the Tata's, Wadia's & DHL group should make this a walk in the Park. Plz make some time from your Busy schedule & give it just a day & we should get our Goal. Vishal & me are always there With the entire cycling Community.

The duty structure on bicycles, gruppos & accessories, is still very high & must be brought down to 1~3% ad-velorum. I have paid in the 70's, 80's & 90's 150%, 100% & 65% respectively on my bikes, which was rediculously high, I still have the "custom-duty paid reciepts" of the same.
Something has got to be done, especially as cycling is a NON POLLUTING, HEALTH-ENHANCING & ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY activity.

Duathlon 2011 is now BSA Hercules Duathlon 2011.... We now have a Title Sponsor... Thanks a lot BSA and Hercules in showing confidence in Rotaract Club of Andheri and Duathlon 2011....
We are really looking forward to a powerpacked event this sunday morning...
Registrations of under 18 category starts at 6.00 am and ends at 7.15 am.
Registrations of above 18 and above 35 category starts at 6.30 am and ends at 7.30 am.
The race for under 18 category will be flagged off at 7.30 am sharp and for above 18 and above 35 category will be flagged off at 7.45 am sharp...
Overall winner (Best Timing) of the race in the above 18 category - male and female will win a Cycle from BSA Hercules and other gifts.
Overall winner (Best Timing) of the race in the under 18 category - male and female will win a Cash prize and other gifts.
Others who come 2nd and 3rd will also stand a chance to win gifts and prizes.
So, register fast.... Time is running out....
