Further information:

Starting point is Damodar Mithaiwala at Dadar TT.

Please gather at 5:15 a.m. so we can start on time at 5:30 a.m.

Carry your own puncture repair kit and tubes.

Carry a packet of electrol, gatorade or whatever you prefer, it'll be helpful in this heat. Also, carry energy bars if you prefer, but shouldn't be needed for this short a ride.

Before starting, make sure your cycle is in a perfect condition for the ride.

I'll consider keeping future events on outskirts of Mumbai as well so people get more practice on highway. One of them could be starting from Borivali.

What is more important is to practice for variations than the place to start.

Good going Mehul! This is super for aspiring randonneurs.
Would have come if was closer. Have fun! Best of Luck!

Advancing the time by 30 minutes so new riders don't have to ride too much in the heat.

It's better to keep other factors simple for first couple of rides as experienced, faster riders will anyway finish before it gets hot and the new riders will be the only ones to suffer. We'll switch to 6 a.m. start once we go to higher distances.
