Event Description

Hi People...a few pointers...
First: This is a fun / liesure ride, we are not attempting and speed records or stunts enroute...So we invite cyclists of all experiences to join us...and keep it simple...

Second: Its is not necessary for all to ride on the entire route. As per Gmap pedometer calculations frm end to end its going to be a 20 km ride. People can join in at various pre-decided points and can drop off if needed for any reasons, as long as the main group is kept aware of their movements...

Third: Since we start off early morning, it is advisable for each rider to carry a bottle of water and if one wish a small snack pack...just incase hunger strikes..

Fourth: Decisions regardings helmet usage / personal clothing is best left to the individual riders, as per their comfort n requirements...

Again for any clarifications / ideas / suggestions...
U can call / sms on 9969457565 or email:

Post Event / Ride Summary
All in all a small and neat ride...

We started off with 05 riders from Borivali side and later on few more joined in @ Malad Mith Chowki....bringing the final head count to nine...

Enroute there were some ideas suggested for route changes which we thought could be better tried as separate ride on another day...

The group rode till Aksa beach which was yet to wake up, we all grabbed a cup of tea slightly ahead of Erangal village and made a U turn towards Malad again, wherein our hungry cyclist pack encountered a cyclist Anna with a superb breakfast on wheels arrangement...

After packin in the dosas and idlis...we headed back towards the Malad n Borivali areas respectively...

Special thanks to Raunak n Nilanjan (our long distance champs), who rode in all the way from Dadar to be a part of this burby ride....

Also special mention of Nehal from Borivali, who made his debut ride with any cycle in almost 15 years....

Finally my speedometer clocked in @ 30kms final...

Thanks to all who supported the ride, and we wish more can join us next time....

Prabu not riding on Saturday so I may join you guys.... But instead of taking this route I have a better route....., We can start from the same point & end at the Goria Jetty. believe me its 100 times better than this route....just that it's a 35km ride.... only if you all are interested.

This route is actually My & Prabu's fav recovery ride....with the fast sections offcourse :P
