Post Ride Quick Update:

We finally had 22 riders! Great showing, and all fantastic riders. More on my blog in a few hours... Great going and pats on the back for all.

Late Event Update:

5.45 AM: Riders from points North and East of Bandra assemble outside Lucky, Bandra.
6.01 AM: Departure along announced route.
From this point on we have several riders joining us en route, therefore estimated touch point timings are published. Note: We will not be stopping at any of these points, nor will we be reducing speed.
6.06: Passing Mahim Church.
6.15: Passing Mayors Bungalow at Shivaji Park.
6.20: Passsing Siddhi Vinayaka temple.
6.30: Passing Worli Naka
6.50: Passing Haji Ali.
6.55: Begin Upslope Carmichael Road
7.10: Beginning of Marine Drive
7.20: Gateway of India
7.20 - 7.40: Break, Photo Op.
8.10: Swing By Worli Sea Face to show support for the Kiddies Ride (5 minute stop only).
8.30: Kinds Circle.
8.30 - 9.00: Chow Time at Cafe Madras
9.20: Bandra Kurla Complex Junction.
From where we go our separate ways.

Sunday Morning Ride from several points to Gateway of India and back. Convergence point Bandra (Lucky Restaurant). Early Morning ride. Riders will join from Mira/Bhayendar, Kandivali, Oshiwara, New Link Road, Bandra. Will meet at Bandra at 6am, take a 10 minute break, ride on to Gateway of India. Route: Individuals either meet up at mentioned locations, or ride individually at Bandra - on to Mahim Causeway - Shivaji Park - Worli Naka - Haji Ali - Pedder Road - up to Carmichael road (short but steep uphill) - down to Pedder Road flyover junction - Marine Drive - Air India Building on Marine Drive - to Regal Cinema - Gateway of India. Halt 20 mins. Return path: Gateway - Marine Drive - Malabar Hill (long uphill & great downhill) - Pedder Road - Worli Naka towards Shivaji Park - Right at Shivaji Part towards Plaza Cinema - over Plaza Bridge onward to Kings Circle. Stop at Kings Circle at Cafe Madras for South Indian Breakfast (30 -45 minutes) - Western Express Highway towards Dharavi. Split from Dharavi to various starting points.

IMPORTANT:
IMPORTANT:
1. No frequent stops, it only breaks the rhythm of the pack. Of course breakdown cannot be avoided and in that case a couple of riders will stop to assist. Rest will carry on.
2. Departure from Lucky at 6 AM sharp. If anyone is late please catch up with the rest along route.

Ideal Times:
Kashimira Junction to Lucky (Bandra) = 60 - 70 minutes
Bandra - Gateway = 60 minutes
Gateway - Kings Circle = 60 minutes
Kings Circle - WE Highway = 20 minutes
